NEW PREDATOR TRAILERS BY SBS TRAILERS
Following the recent changes in European trailer legislation, we have been reviewing the new range of boat trailers that are now on the market and we have been particularly impressed by the SBS range of boat trailers. The following features, in our opinion, make the SBS boat trailer the best currently on the market:

Welded chassis - far fewer U-bolts than other manufacturers.

Double-dipped galvanising as standard, vastly increasing the life expectancy!

Stronger A-frame design.

Stainless steel brake cables.

Mudguard steps fitted as standard.

New European lighting with wiring harness INSIDE the chassis for protection.

LED waterproof lighting and waterproof connectors.
No other trailer manufacturer offers all of these excellent features and, because of this, all Predator full package deals will, in future, come with an SBS boat trailer. Predator Boats are pleased to confirm that there will be no increase in the price of the Predator package deals as a result of this significant improvement.

MERCURY AND MARINER OUTBOARD MOTORS
Mercury/Mariner have just increased the retail prices of their 60 Hp outboard motors by 8.2%. However, Predator Boats will NOT be increasing the prices of their Mercury/Mariner based package deals in the immediate future.
SEAT CUSHIONS
We have a few of these seat cushions sets available at £30.00 per set (excluding p&p). They're slightly better than our usual ones in that the come with a back cushion, but they don't match the colour of our usual upholstery so we're selling them off. If you're interested, please give us a call.
TRAILER PRICE INCREASES
New EU legislation has been imposed on all UK trailer manufacturers and the result has been a significant increase in trailer prices. We are sorry this has happened but, unfortunately, this price increase has been completely beyond our control.
JUST IN! SUPERB USED PREDATOR 165 WITH MERCURY F80
We now have available a second hand Predator 165/Mercury 80 full Premier Package with extras that was supplied new by us in March 2011. We have now had this engine fully serviced and can confirm that it has only had 43.1 hours use, mostly at trolling speeds. The service print-out also shows that this engine has never been flat out. NEW COVER
Predator Boats are pleased to announce the introduction of their "Camping Cover" for the Predator 165. This all-new cover offers the ultimate weather protection yet is sectional, allowing a variety of uses:
- Full protection to the whole cockpit, as shown in the photo
- Partial protection for the whole cockpit, with one or more of the 5 side screens removed, but the roof cover still in place
- Use as a normal fishing canopy, with the rear section removed entirely. This canopy is higher than our standard fishing canopy, with a forward facing window.
- Use as a partial fishing canopy, with one or more of the 2 front side screens removed
The fabric is high quality, breathable, marine grade navy acrylic canvas. The tubular framework is made from lightweight aluminium, but mirror-polished stainless steel is also available at a small extra charge.
The front "fishing canopy", section is £715.00 including VAT
The aft section, if bought separately, is £835.00 including VAT
And the complete "Camping Cover", as shown, is £1,550.00 incl VAT
PILOTAGE NOTES AND CHART ADDED

New pilotage notes and chart have been added to our "Find Us" web page. These notes and chart provide some local knowledge to help with entering the Ribble Estuary from the Irish Sea, and for making passage up to Douglas Boatyard.
FITTING AN AUXILIARY OUTBOARD BRACKET
A Predator 165 owner has asked how to fit an auxiliary outboard motor bracket to his boat as an after-market option. Details of how this should be done are now on the Predator Owners Technical Help page.
NEW PREDATOR OWNERS CLUB!
Predator Boats have just launched the new Predator Owners Club, please see our News Page or click on one of the "Predator Owners Club" links to learn more.
We know that, at this early stage, this club is not very exciting, but we are hoping that over the coming weeks, months and years, Predator owners and enthusiasts will take an interest in the club and will contribute and get involved.
The idea is to enhance the pleasure of owning and using a Predator or Redfinn boat by providing owners with a meeting place where they can share their enthusiasm, ideas and problems with other Predator owners.
