Every Redfinn 6M sports fisher is hand built by skilled and experienced craftsmen in our workshops at Douglas Boatyard in Lancashire where we use only the very best, Lloyds Approved materials. In addition, every boat we build is inspected for quality at each stage of construction.
But what makes the Redfinn 6M particularly special is that it is built without any wood being used at all. All hull, floor and cuddy reinforcements are made from resin-based boards: no timber in the build, means there's no timber to deteriorate.

Protection from Osmosis Boat builders can significantly reduce the chances of osmosis by using an osmosis-resistant gelcoat. As you would expect, the best gelcoats, called Full Isophthalic Gelcoats, are much more expensive than ordinary gelcoats, so not all boat builders use them. However, every Redfinn 6M built by Predator Boats has 2 full coats of Full Isophthalic Gelcoat. |

Strong Build This matrix supports both the hull and the cockpit sole, and its longitudinal members are designed to line up with, and take the load from, the trailer rollers. The Redfinn 6M is built by Predator Boats without any timber being used, whatsoever. All stiffening and reinforcing panels incorporated into the build are resin based products which cannot rot or deteriorate.

Practical Design For those who prefer the side-anchoring method, the bow roller fitted as standard includes an anti jump-off loop to keep the anchor warp on the roller. The Redfinn 6M is designed and built to be a serious fishing boat. |

Outstanding Performance This photograph gives an indication of just how spacious and safe the cockpit is and, for even greater safety, higher cockpit side rails are also available. The cockpit of the Redfinn 6M is self draining, making it ideal for keeping on a mooring and meaning that no bilge pump is required |

- Built-in Finnriders provide exceptional stability and better planing characteristics.

- Self draining cockpit - no bilge pump required.
- Port side (at transom), a 25 litre circular bait tank is built in as standard (can be fitted out as a livebait well, as an option, if required).
- All windows are high-strength bonded acrylic.
